Corie Barry (born in 1975) is an American Business Executive, Former Chief Financial Officer and Best Buy’s Chief Executive Officer from Cambridge, Minnesota. Recently, she became the first female CEO of a retail company named “Best Buy“.
Corie is serving as the fifth CEO in the company’s 53 years history. Furthermore, the 44-year-old replaced the company’s former CEO Hubert Joly. In fact, he is going to join as chairman executive for the Best Buy. Furthermore, her real full birth name is Corie Sue Barry.
Earlier, she worked as a chief financial and strategic transformation officer. Barry started her career in the firm back in September 1997 as a senior auditor and served it till December 1999.
