Glenbrook Mall shooting suspect turns himself in after 'gunning down man who was rushed to hospital'

ONE person has been shot after a possible incident at a mall in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Saturday, confirmed police.

Emergency crews were at the Glenbrook Square Mall after initial calls were made just before 3.30pm.

Police said the shooting happened in front of the H&M store - the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is now stable.

The suspect turned himself in to the Fort Wayne Police Department, reported WANE.

Shoppers reportedly panicked after hearing the sounds of gunfire, the outlet reported.

The FWPD believes the shooting was not a random incident and suspects there was some kind of confrontation between the shooter and the victim before shots were fired.
