GloRilla Backs Grandmother's Claim She & Rihanna Look Alike

GloRilla has co-signed her grandmother’s claim that she and Rihanna not only share similar appearances, but that they’re practically twins.

According to the Memphis rap star, she and the Bajan-bred mogul look eerily similar — and her grandmother agrees. On Sunday (March 19), Big Glo shared an audio clip on Twitter, from a voicemail left by her grandmother (presumably to her mother), where she asserted that Glo and Rihanna share a striking resemblance.

“How come you didn’t tell me Rihanna and Gloria look so much alike?” her grandmother began.

She continued: “I can’t tell them girls apart on TV. That girl look just like your daughter.”

As far as music is concerned, GloRilla has got some major heat on the way. The 23-year-old rapper recently teamed up with Lil Durk and Trina for a pair of collaborations that have landed on the deluxe edition of her Anyways, Life’s Great EP.

The “Tomorrow 2” rapper released the new version of the project last week, which includes the standout track, “Ex’s (PHATNALL Remix)” alongside Durkio.

“I just started back making love songs again I NDA em’ now/ I ain’t too rich to fuck my old hoes I make em pay me now/ Do you whisper in my ear, ‘I want GloRilla right now,’” Lil Durk raps.

Trina also co-signed Big Glo by blessing the official remix to her “Nut Quick” track, while Gloss Up and NikiPooh have hopped on the “Get That Money” remix.

But it’s not all good news for GloRilla at the moment, following her recent concert with Finesse2Tymes that resulted in a stampede that claimed the lives of three people.

As Memphis rappers took the stage at the Main Street Armory on March 5, there appeared to have been unfounded reports of shots being fired inside, which sparked panic and a deadly stampede.

Two women in their thirties were killed in the immediate aftermath, and the Associated Press reported that a third victim, 35-year-old Aisha Stephens of Syracuse, has also since passed.

After the show, GloRilla took to Twitter to address the tragedy, expressing her shock and sadness while sending prayers to those who were in attendance.
